Project: Planting Into The House—Hiddened In The Square Of The Culture Museum

This project is the design museum in a 4400 square meters，is located inDaLian Zhong shan squre.The square was built in de late nineteenth Century an area of 22000 square meters and there are ten kinds of style around the old build-ings,bearing the historical imprint. Due to various reasons no one shows any interest in the Square,which to be a form only exist on the city of the dead The implantation of square culture building is in order to increase the popularity of the Square.Both merging,Boundaries are fuzzy.The roof of the cultural museum is flush to the fround of the square,which is also one part of the square space to maintain the integrity of the square.The roof is composed of glass building component,inside which growing plants,and to be a breathing building.The building entity is disappeared,a landscape of the square showing us . Cultural Museum is in the form of ablation existing in the square,so as to avoid the conflict from the old buildings around.The glass wall extension to 1.2m,planting trees and flying the bird.The wall itself is a small environment,and is also a beautiful landscape,a live building components.A few pieces of wall are combined into a room,which is a green box.Dozens of the same structure,scattered houses are composed to a breathing building.People traveling through“The forest house”formed by trees,listening the birds”singing,as if exposure to the nature,so a habitat of the spirit formed.The green boxes blur the differences of the building between of each function,indoor and outdoor,plants and buildings.The entity of the building ablates,giving people a vibrant green space.

Square is big and empty ,and the utilization rate of it is very low,resulting in a waste of space.The square is only the form of existence,losing their value.

The importing and entering people of the culture certainly are passing the plaza,And the culture museum itself is a landscape of the square,Cultural Museum is in the form of ablation existing in the square ,increasing the popularity of historical places.
