Q: Will (Yangliuqing, Tianjin, China) be the only designated city for UIA-HYP CUP 2020 Competition? Will the organizing Committee provide the information about Yangliuqing?
Due to the unfortunate pandemic that the world is facing together today, Mr. Prix understands that international students and a good portion of Chinese national students will not be able to visit the site in person. He, and the organizers of the competition, after careful discussion, have decided to allow competitors to select alternate cities and sites.Yangliuqing’s related site information will still be made available to all competitors. The original site should act as a model of criterion or template for the selection of alternate sites, and these alternatives should have certain similarities to the original site of Yangliuqing.
Due to the allowance for alternate sites, whether the proposal is based in Yangliuqing will NOT be part of the criterion for evaluation. However, the selected alternative site should consider Yangliuqing as a template or model.
